Since
1985, the Mitrajaya Group has enjoyed sustained growth
at a consistent rate. As a result of all our
successful ventures, we have grown to become a public
listed company.
Spearheaded by our principal company, Pembinaan
Mitrajaya Sdn. Bhd., the Group was first listed on the
Second Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 8
December 1994, and subsequently moved up to the Main
Board on 29 May 1998.
Reflecting on the Group's commendable performance
throughout the years, I am convinced that there are
specific areas of focus that have helped us achieve
these satisfying results:
- Our
unwavering commitment to provide our customers
with timely and quality services through systems
in place that deliver these efficiently. At the
same time, we have also been driven by our
endeavours to be the preferred product and service
provider in all our core business.
- Our
diligence in discharging our responsibilities as
an employer and corporate citizen, participating
in the country's development as a catalyst of
progress.
Looking
ahead, we will continue to explore opportunities
offered by our current business and develop new areas
as well. We have already made a start by venturing
into property development, laser eye care and other
areas related to infrastructure and construction.
Further afield, our maiden overseas venture in South
Africa gives us cause for excitement and optimism.

Though
the Group continues to operate in an extremely
challenging environment, we are strengthened and
inspired by our established track record. The Group is
poised to take on the future with a pragmatic boldness
that may yield returns beyond our expectations.
I take this opportunity to thank everyone who has
contributed to the growth of the Group, including our
Government, all our customers, bankers, suppliers, every
member of the Board and staff of the company. Thank you
for your continued support.
