As the initial core business of the Group, the Division became the platform from which other divisions have taken off, enhancing corporate strength and performance in the long term.
The Division has grown in tandem with the great infrastructural transformation Malaysia has undergone in a short period of time. This process includes the rapid building of the country's major hubs of transportation, commerce and finance. Concurrently, in collaboration with international consultants, the Division has undertaken the completion of hotels, resorts, power plants, highways and golf courses of world renown.
In pursuing on the growth, the Division is committed to total quality excellence in every aspect of our operation while enhancing environmental, health and safety organizational culture.
Pursuant to our continued efforts to emphasise on quality, we are pleased to report that our construction arm, Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd has received certification in the foregoing Standards in 2010 :
1) Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 Standard; and
2) Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001:2007 Standard and MS 1722: Part 1:2005.
These standards are in addition to our existing Standard ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System obtained since year 2000.
