Corporate Social Responsibility

As a corporate citizen, Mitrajaya is committed to uphold its Corporate Social Responsibility. Over the years, we have been continuously making contributions and sponsorships to various charitable and social organisation events.

Through the auspices of our Sports Club, Mitrajaya has engaged civil society in a number of tangible ways - visits to orphanages, homes for the elderly and disabled.

The Sports Club also promotes the culture of 'Work Smart, Play Hard' amongst for our staff by organising sport activities, excursion trips and family day carnivals amongst others. The Club remains a good conduit to enhance the well-being of our employees and fostering a strong team spirit.

GoKart 2020

The Sports & Recreational Club organised a Go Kart race where employees had a chance to show off their racing skills. The event was held at the Sepang Go-Kart Circuit. Prizes were given out to the top 3 race finishers.

White Water Rafting Adventure

Members of the SRC had an unforgettable rafting adventure and also had a chance to re-connect with nature during a white water rafting trip held at Sungai Selangor, Kuala Kubu Bharu. The members also got to put their teamworking and coordination skills to the test whilst navigating through the cascading rapids.

Charity Visit to Orphanage

Mitrajaya organised a half-day visit to House of Joy, Bukit Kinrara, Puchong, Selangor, which is welfare home to 60 children. Our staff had the chance to spend precious moments with the children over refreshments, presented them with angpow giving as well as hosting some entertainment activities for the children such as dancing and singing with a Chipmunk mascot from Marrybrown arranged by Mitrajaya.

Mitrajaya contributed essential items, including groceries, sundry items and a small cash donation to the representatives at the orphanage.

The visit allowed us an opportunity to have an up-close understanding of the children's needs. On top of that, the welfare home also comprises of senior citizens and persons with disabilities (OKU) too. We hope that the time spent together was uplifting, the groceries supplied and the donation given were of help in providing some measure of comfort and improvement to the welfare of the children.
