Corporate Social Responsibility

As a corporate citizen, Mitrajaya is committed to uphold its Corporate Social Responsibility. Over the years, we have been continuously making contributions and sponsorships to various charitable and social organisation events.

Through the auspices of our Sports Club, Mitrajaya has engaged civil society in a number of tangible ways - visits to orphanages, homes for the elderly and disabled.

The Sports Club also promotes the culture of 'Work Smart, Play Hard' amongst for our staff by organising sport activities, excursion trips and family day carnivals amongst others. The Club remains a good conduit to enhance the well-being of our employees and fostering a strong team spirit.

Trip to Club Med Cherating

The Sports & Recreational Club was back at its perennial favourite all-inclusive resort Club Med Cherating, where staff and their loved ones enjoyed three days of great weather, awesome activities and a free-flow of food and drink for a well-deserved break away from the city hustle and bustle.

Drift Karting

The Sports & Recreational Club provided a chance for staff to try their hands at Drift Karting, which puts a spin (no pun intended) on traditional Go Karting where sliding around corners in style was the name of the game, all in the safe confines of the specially designed karts and indoor drift track at the Sungai Wang Plaza carpark.

A Visit to Pertubuhan Limpahan Kasih, Puchong

Mitrajaya has successfully organised a CSR event at Pertubuhan Limpahan Kasih in Puchong on 30th April 2024. Pertubuhan Limpahan Kasih is a centre dedicated to the welfare and education of orphans, currently caring for 120 female teenagers aged 12 to 18, along with 30 caretakers. The centre provides education on essential living skills and facilitates entrepreneurship projects to help sustain its operations.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to contribute various essential items, including groceries, as well as distribute Duit Raya to the teenagers. Additionally, we provided a cash donation to the representatives of the orphanage, with the aim to provide financial relief and support. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of these teenagers and the community, and we look forward to continuing our support in the future.

Mitrajaya Idol 2024

Mitrajaya Idol 2024 was a great showcase of talent among staff where contestants wooed the crowd with powerful ballads and their sultry voices. Winners won cash prizes, while everyone enjoyed the buffet spread and karaoke till late, for a truly fun and memorable night.

Visit to Persatuan Insan Istimewa Cheras

Members of Mitrajaya paid a social visit to a special needs and underprivileged home at Persatuan Insan Istimewa Cheras, Selangor. Mitrajaya contributed a cash donation of RM5,000 to the Centre in support of the special needs community. This Centre provides housing and care for 48 children with various degrees of mental and physical impairments who have been abandoned by their families. Founded in 2009, this non-profit organisation provides children with expert care, rehabilitation programs, specialized treatment, daily living skills training and educational assistance.

We engaged in conversations, danced together, and distributed Angpows. We hope that the monetary support will help to provide services and care to these children to experience the same love and care as their peers, bringing a glimmer of hope and happiness to their lives.

ATV at Kampung Kemensah

The Sports & Recreational Club returned to Kampung Kemensah, eager to conquer its challenging off-road trails with 4-wheeled All-Terrain Vehicles. They navigated through lush fruit orchards and rugged jungle paths, culminating their thrilling journey at the serene Sofea Jane Waterfall. The adventure proved to be exhilarating and left everyone craving for more.

Family Day at SplashMania

Mitrajaya kicked off 2024 with a fun-filled Family Day at the new SplashMania Waterpark, where employees and their families reveled in the day's festivities including Zumba, telematches, quizzes, a lavish buffet lunch, and the exhilarating rides that the waterpark is renowned for. Participants of all ages engaged in mini games such as the Omba Frisbee for toddlers and kids, and the Tug-Of-War for the adults, all while braving the endless tides of the wave pool. Beyond the thrills, this occasion served as a valuable opportunity for colleagues to fortify their bonds, fostering a sense of camaraderie that transcends the workplace, and proved to be a truly memorable experience for the entire Mitrajaya family.
