As a corporate citizen, Mitrajaya is committed to uphold its Corporate Social Responsibility. Over the years, we have been continuously making contributions and sponsorships to various charitable and social organisation events.

Through the auspices of our Sports Club, Mitrajaya has engaged civil society in a number of tangible ways - visits to orphanages, homes for the elderly and disabled.

The Sports Club also promotes the culture of 'Work Smart, Play Hard' amongst for our staff by organising sport activities, excursion trips and family day carnivals amongst others. The Club remains a good conduit to enhance the well-being of our employees and fostering a strong team spirit.

Deepavali Celebration: A Journey To Give Back

As Deepavali approaches, a time of joy, celebration and the triumph of light over darkness, it's the perfect opportunity to engage with communities in need. To celebrate Deepavali this year, we have chosen to visit Pertubuhan Kebajikan Yesuvin Mahligai (YM) Selangor. This organisation provides shelter for a total of 60 residents consisting of the elderly and underprivileged children. In the spirit of giving, we donated groceries, essential items as well as a cash donation of RM6,000 to assist them with their daily operational needs. Our aim for the visit was also to bring some festive cheer and joy to the residents there. We felt that we have succeeded as the residents welcomed us with big smiles.

This marks our second year hosting the tufting workshop for our staff. Each participant had the opportunity to express their creativity by crafting personalised bags that reflected their unique styles, from beginning to end. Everyone left with not only their handmade bags but also new skills and inspiration for future tufting projects.

Annual Dinner

Everyone brought out their best Retro outfits to celebrate the company's 39th Anniversary at Four Points by Sheraton, Puchong, where the night was filled with exhilarating performances, impromptu dances, a Best Dressed showdown, and even an encore to the crowd pleaser Lucky Draw! It was a great show of camaraderie, with some travelling great distances to rekindle friendships. Can't wait till the celebrations for the big 4-0!

Drift Karting

The Sports & Recreational Club provided a chance for staff to try their hands at Drift Karting, which puts a spin (no pun intended) on traditional Go Karting where sliding around corners in style was the name of the game, all in the safe confines of the specially designed karts and indoor drift track at the Sungai Wang Plaza carpark.

A Visit to Pertubuhan Limpahan Kasih, Puchong

Mitrajaya contributed a cash donation of RM5,000 to the Centre in support of the special needs community. This Centre provides housing and care for 48 children with various degrees of mental and physical impairments who have been abandoned by their families. Founded in 2009, this non-profit organisation provides children with expert care, rehabilitation programs, specialized treatment, daily living skills training and educational assistance.

We engaged in conversations, danced together, and distributed Angpows. We hope that the monetary support will help to provide services and care to these children to experience the same love and care as their peers, bringing a glimmer of hope and happiness to their lives.
